A Kraft Test is a blood test which identifies a condition known as insulin resistance / hyperinsulinemia. It gives a good picture of how your body responds to food, in particular glucose - the basic component of our increasingly carbohydrate-heavy modern diets.
Dr Joseph Kraft, the inventor of Kraft Tests, found through his extensive testing that there are extremely high levels of what he termed "occult" or hidden diabetes among people whose blood glucose levels are apparently normal.
